Planting at BDP
Aravalli Biodiversity Park was a mining site and a dumping ground. Stone crushers, huge piles of construction debris and fissured rock faces are a testimony to the bygone era. iamgurgaon in partnership with the Municipal Corporation and Corporates is developing this land into a native buy 20 mg ambien Aravalli Forest showcasing the finest flora of northern Aravalli range.
Over the last 3 years, the park has been planted with more than 100 species of native Aravalli plants. These have either being extinct from this (Gurgaon and Delhi) region or are severly endangered.
This year alone about 13000 saplings were planted, which were sponsored by SABIC, Geetika Jain, Maruti, Walmart, Bata, PWC, ERM, Sentiss, Coke, Genpact, Blackrock, KPMG, Dunnhumby, COWI, Anya, Fidelity, Tricolite and Mizuho. Many Private and NGO schools took part in the planting of the sapling, including enthusiastic participants from Vishwas School.
