iamgurgaon organized Independence Day celebrations in 2013 at Aravali Biodiversity Park. The flag hoisting ceremony was held followed by sports events such as running, cycling, kite flying, Yoga along with cultural events – storytelling, block printing,and dance performances etc. Refreshments were also served. The highlight of the celebrations was a major buy ativan from india plantation drive where more than 1200 saplings of native trees were planted during the course of the day. Attendance of over 1600 people reflected the involvement of Gurgaon residents in the development of the park.
