On 17 November 2013, an initiative by a team of NGO’s launched Raahgiri Day in Gurgaon as India’s first sustained car-free day. India cycle service, EMBARQ India, Pedal Yatri, Heritage School and Duplays  along with IamGurgaon associated with Gurgaon Police ( road safety officers) to bring this event to Gurgaon. The efforts generic valium high were supported by The Times of India as well. Over 20,000 people welcomed the initiative and participated enthusiastically by giving up their motorized vehicles for the slotted time period. This Event will be happening on every Sunday from 6am to 12noon throughout the winter.
